In the eighties, I used to drink drive all the time, it was socially acceptable, got breathalyser a few times always got green or amber. I was lucky, as the world turned I stopped. Now, I see it as socially irresponsible tbh.

Bet you listened Mungo Jerry while doing it.

Haha, I probably did. Actually in those days I would get paid in drinks and entry of clubs etc by friends to drive there.

My Friends always got kinda pissed when they made me the Designated Driver and I would get drunker then them.

And I could drive better Sloshed then all of them combined.

Ahh Youth.

Happened to me on our last casino run.

But them I wasn't too sure about, and just decided to be the designated driver that night. Wasn't feeling it anyways, drinking.

Honestly not too sure on this one. Some kind of penalty needs to be given but automatic jail time when no accident occured seems weird to me. An automatic suspension of the license seems pretty reasonable to me.

I have never in my life driven drunk but I have driven high on the devil's lettuce on occasion. The weed I smoke makes me focus more and so I felt like I was even more attentive behind the wheel than normal, but I know it's wrong.

I also only did that in my teenage years and I am in my early 20's now so it has been a while and I doubt I will do it again.

Clambaked from Keene, New Hampshire to CT in my college days.

Probably not the dumbest thing I've ever done, but we got really lucky nothing happened.

Folks never commented on the smell either.

Not sure if this was mentioned nor do care but prohibition happened 100 years ago today.

A did you know fact

Personally I feel every car should come with one of those things where u need to pass a breathalyzer to start it.

Actually not a bad idea tbh. But the problem would be the state couldn’t make any money off of those fines nor could the lawyers make money off of those fees and most places that would have free workers (volunteers) aka community service would be in trouble

Man Prohabition would have been a Fun Time to Be ALIVE!

Speak Easys. Bath Tub Gin. Moonshine Runs. Gangsters and You could buy a Tommy Gun and B.A.R.'s at your local Tool Store.

Good Times...

Their license should be revoked for 5-10 years for a first offense and upon a second offense they should not be allowed to drive again for the rest of their lives.
