My city is opening up and people are glad

It seems as if the quarantine has helped but I feel it's too soon to open up. However as a huge city with a large population the people can't hold back to party and bars are opening up. Are your cities open and if so what is the status quo?

Good and decent caution is advised in placements like these. It’s a positive thing that the economy is opening up in certain fractions.

No official change from lockdown here but as someone who has to travel to their essential workplace I'm noticing a gradually creeping increase in traffic on the roads. The city centre is still almost entirely closed with only the handful of food stores open. More specialised food places are beginning to reopen. Butchers and bakers for example. They didn't have to close but chose to move to delivery only. Still no non essential services like hairdressers, tattoo places, beauty salons open. No clothing, furniture, electronics etc.

Hundreds more Amazon vans on the roads though.

Eon I concur people need to get back to business but not all places should open up. Theyre are opening the Regal theaters up. That's foolish I would wait til mid may to do that. Then again I know lots of people will still stay from those areas for now. I myself have been dying to catch a movie. The last one I saw was Harley Quinn and I loved it

There's about one million five hundred thousand here and the roads have been going more traffic. Since they cancelled fiesta this spring all people have been dying for is partying

My city is about to ease the lockdown too. I rather it stays in lockdown for a bit longer especially for more populated countries. If second wave does hit, it will be a lot worse I heard.
