It would be difficult for me to be friends with someone who hated transgendered people, for instance. Or people who valued sacrificing innocents to a malevolent god.

I think the belief would have to be so radical. I would never be so deranged to stop being friends with someone cuz they supported Elizabeth Warren or Hillary, for example.
Honestly, even if someone I was friends with for years started doing the whole "I am a man whose feelings tell me I am not a man" I wouldn't stop being friends with them. Though I could make no promises I wouldn't laugh my ass off if they showed up in a dress.
