The Avengers is almost eight years old.

Jebus Cripes. How time flies.

This movie f.ucking blew me away when I first saw it, and it still holds up as my favorite of the MCU.

This movie is one of the columns of the pinnacle of cinematic genius.

Avengers was amazing, the build up and the waiting paid off

WB tried to rush there’s and then when justice league came out it was a huge disappointment

Yup. Math checks out. 👆

Amazing spider-man came out the same year, never would’ve expected spider-man to appear in later MCU movies

Time is disturbing at our age. I agree.

Yeah time does fly. It was a good movie and it pretty much told the world that superhero movies are here to stay.

Also remember that "The Dark Knight Rises" came out a few months after this.

I'll be honest I didn't think the AS films were that bad, even the sequel. At the time they were cancelled if you would have given me the choice I would have said continue with that and see where it goes. However, I like the MCU Spiderman better and both of MCU Spideys movies are much better than the AS movies. So I'm glad things worked out like they did.

We'll all be looking back about how far the MCU has come when they drop Secret Wars in ten years.

I thought the sequel was terrible, but would have hung in there for a third installment, as I really liked Andrew Garfield‘s Spidey.
While Tom Holland is a great Spidey, his apprenticeship to Tony Stark put him in a really non Spidey position. Garfield was a more Spidey Spidey.

It sucked

Yup, the wank is strong in this unnecessarily created thread.

So to use this Logic of the Thread. Superman and DC/WB are Way Cooler and Better then Marvel /Avengers cause both are Older?

Yes. Lets Run with that Logic!

There are a LOT of unnecessarily created (wank) threads in the movie discussion forum, some of the bumped after being dormant for months/years.
At least this one isn’t about Star Wars. 😆
