Actually, Italian servers don't expect tips more than 2-5%. At least back when I was in Italy in 2001
I still tipped them 20%, like an American. Didn't care if they hated it, also like an American.

Still one of the most brilliant and well acted scenes in any movie. Makes the top 50 list, easily. You don't feel comfortable with the n-bombs at first. And that's part of the point. The dialogue puts you in the same uncomfortable seat as the mafiosos but the mafiosos are feeling it 1,000 times worse.
As you watch the scene, you quickly "get it." You understand why he's doing it. And then you start laughing with his character. Then you realize why he asked for that cigarette.
