Jedi Temple Apprentice Tournament

This is interesting piece of legends - 32 younglings battling it out to impress potential masters

Wish we could see it in a TV show or something
Do we know anything more about it other than Scout and Whie Malreaux?
Is there any reference to it in canon?

The apprentice/initiate tournament was shown in Dooku: Jedi Lost a bit.

Could you post some excerpts of it?

It's an audiobook, and there's way too much dialogue for me to copy/type.

The tournament occurs in scenes 27-28, though.
