Prime has no way of beating the Sentry at his best. And the helicarrier that he struggled to stop was due to inertia, and Sentry trying not to punch clear through it. Sentry doesn't have tactile telekinesis like Conner. Or, how about the time that Superman was pused back over a mile while attempting to slow a space pod the size of a sedan that had held Zod's son in it? The mention of the helicarrier in the attempt to low ball clearly shows that the people that dare to bring it up, lack the ability to think on a critical level.
When taken at the height of his powe, in reference to Sentry, Superboy Prime has no way of defeating the Sentry construct. However, Bob has many sinister ways of killing Prime.

What retcon punch? The reality Superboy-Prime shattered was already cracked and damaged. Sentry caused an explosion, which tore reality apart by separating his personas.
Someone talked about how Superboy-Prime survived a universal explosion. Well, he didn't really. He survived a nuclear explosion, which set off a chain-reaction which destroyed that universe. Massive difference there.
Hyperion was at the center of two colliding universes and survived that. And Hyperion is below the Sentry by quite a bit.
What's Superboy-Prime going to do? Punch the Sentrys head off? Sentry ripped his own head off for fun. He is not a physical being, which needs any body part to live.
If anyone gets erased from existence, it's not the Sentry. Couldn't been done by the freakin' Molecule Man, who has affected billions of galaxies with his powers and said that in all of his time he had never experienced anything like the Sentry.

😂 Superboy Prime's famous "Retcon Punch" is not applicable to Combat. He cannot just go around "punching" retcons. He only accomplished these things by shattering/affecting a dimensional wall which causes a chain reaction that affects the space/time continuum of the universe. The Phantom Zone wall, or the dimensional wall in Infinite Crisis. Prime cannot just do that to anyone on a whim.
Non-Quantifiable. So it cannot be proven as to how much strength is or isnt required to do something like that, and the simple act of affecting space/time or dimensional walls with brute strength has been accomplished by Many other heroes, including Thor, Hercules, Hulk, Superman(Post Crisis), and others.
