It's not just the Jane Thor fight, he has better experience fighting actual meta level characters. He stalemated IF and routinely takes on ap although he admitted he couldn't beat him.

He also stalemated Classic Fantomex... who beat him to the prize (diamond or whatever it was), but it was Batroc who laughed in the end, as Fantomex got caught and had to return it.
And in the fight you mentioned, he also has another great durability showing; taking an Iron Fist (which was the only thing that allowed Danny to get the upper hand).

On the subject im surprised Oz didnt get any feats during the whole Manhattan storyline, missed opportunity
