Was it terrible because it showcase what a Darkseid not held back by pis/cis can actually accomplished, or was it just the script?
Haven’t seen the movie yet, but I’ve seen some clips of happens when you remove pis/cis when it concerns normal heroes.
I did chuckle when Nightwing, Damien and Barbara died though. Was waiting on Batman, but it wasn’t shown in the clip.

Aquaman gets cut in half by the omega beams but Damien Wayne takes them for a solid three seconds before getting burnt. Mera gets her head ripped in half but is alive, Aquaman gets cut in half at the waste and is implied to have died. Plant thing didn't notice that Darkseid was siphoning all of the magma off of earth. Apparently magma causes thermonuclear explosions. There is so much more.
