👆 😂 I want to see collateral damage, someone tell Hawkeye he's a redundant useless ****wit and needs to go back to the farm etc.

It would be hilarious if Snider actually started producing quality stuff after switching sides.

The Snydercut is a work of art Stilt. It might be the greatest film of the 21st Century so far.

I'm almost halfway through watching this and have been very pleasantly surprised so far. Because the theatrical cut was abysmal.

Kind of a shame that the new characters like Martian Manhunter and the DC version of Thanos won't get any further Snyder adaptations. MoS and BvS were pretty painful, but at least he finished it out pretty solidly. It has his signature vision and gravitas much like Watchmen with music and slow-mo. It has some pretty legit violence and blood. So it has some nostalgia in that respect. I remember thinking some of that flashback stuff in the theatrical release could have some potential, but was clearly wasted in that cut and it is pretty epic (although some of Diana's voiceover exposition is a little annoying.) Anyway, it's clearly sort of a generic comicbook plot, pretty obvious rip-off of Marvel. But the treatment is actually sort of cool. It's a shame DC didn't set up some of these characters a little better, because suddenly we learn of these outerspace superbeings. Should have had a decent Green Lantern movie and incorporated some of that, but DC bungled their "universe" royally on terrible shit like Suicide Squad and that awful Harley Quinn movie. I actually feel a little bad for Joss Whedon being tasked with cutting it into a single 2-hour movie. That was a shit sandwich. And honestly it was just a horrible decision on the studio's part.

It is indeed a truly bizarre situation these two versions of this movie exist. But we're very fortunate that Snyder got to finish his version in such an uncompromised way. Because it's a fu#k-ton better.

Why do people still claim MOS was a bad Superman adaptation? Not every Superman adaptions are light hearted.

Kingdom Come, one of the best graphic novels out there had Superman turning his back on the human race for 10+years. And when he returned, he gave all all meta an altamatum. Stand with him, or fall.

MOS till this day still has the best realistic godlike fight scenes.

And when he returned, he gave all all meta an altamatum. Stand with him, or fall.

He still couldn't hurt a fly if he wanted to... and Diana facepalm'd at him like a dozen times 😛

Drink some milk like your hero, Squall. Hopefully it will give you an explosive diarrhoea.

Maybe you need to go back and read Kingdom Come again. But since you’re so bias, I won’t hold my breath. But I’ll say this, Clark was so done with their bullshits, he went to Apokalypse of all places to see if Orion could help him imprisoned the metas who refused to follow the rules.

You need to read it again facepalm

He came to Orion LOOKING FOR SOME ADVICE on the matter.

When Orion suggested he could just dump them on Apokolips (as he didn't believe they would cause more trouble than his own subjects), Supes wet his pants... as usual... and declined.

You mean the fight scenes where Superman is at least partially responsible for the deaths of thousands of people?

Yep... Realistic.

His first day on the job and Clark gotta deal with planetary extinction-level events/stakes.

Cause you've got a maniac that was going to kill BILLIONS just to "pay back" Kal-EL.

Options?

no talking to him,
no reasoning,
no peace treaty,
couldn't fly him away cause he'd fly right back,
no phantom zone available,
no Kryptonite bullet...

NOTHING to lose in Zod's mind.

Shit, not even a morality trigger to "guilt" him about committing such horrors... AND he was getting stronger in his power/skillsets by the minute.

...Has Zod won you'd of wished it was only, a "thousand" people... And this 3rd blue rock from a yellow star would now be lifeless.

.....

Yes, realistic. When both the hero and the villain are sociopaths.

Such a weak fall back answer.

This was not the campy Superman 2 where the villains were dumb enough to follow Superman outside the city.

Zod made it clear he would kill everyone to make him suffer.

I also didn’t see any bitching when Superman fought Darkseid/Brainiac in JLU. Clark was casually tossing Darkseid around, destroying everything around him.

In the retcon Death of Superman. Their fight was shook the Earth itself, and Clark never once tried to take it into space.

But for some reasons, MOS is hated on for its realistic destructions when godlike beings fights.

Do you like that Snyder envisions the main universe Superman as weak-willed cuck that would become a genocidal if Lois were to die? Lol, figures.

Yet you people love Injustice?

And what does any of this has to do with Clark being a cuck? Seriously, this is you’ll to go answer to anything Superman not being a happy go lucky character.

The original character before the Crisis wasn’t such a nice guy to began with.
