I understand that, but he still gains the Bats family ability to jump 100x his weight class without any proper explanation. That showing right there was him jumping that shark.

I completely understand why some are upset though. It's pretty stupid. I'm always assumed there was unwritten law within the bat family that they are only allowed to dial it up on everyone else. Not each other.

Yet Batwoman (and her sidekick, forgot the name) were able to handle Bane. Using gadgets, iirc, but still.

So there's no excuse for Batwoman and a damn big part of the Batfamily not to take care of Thomas... especially since they had him on the ropes already.
