Rey and Kylo dyad??

Not trying to beat this horse to death, but since I never got around to reading the TFA novel I was curious if the strong connection (or dyad) between Rey and Kylo was hinted to in that novel?

Or was it only something that began to surface during TLJ?

There's a part in the book where he grabs her butt.

Retroactively speaking, their bond was implied to have existed well before TFA.

When Kylo began raging-out against Ren, Rey could sense it:
