DC's Metahumans vs Marvel's Mutants

Every metahuman that ever existed against every mutant that ever existed

which specie would win in an all out war

dur

Just looking at the numbers favors DC metas whithout even looking at the powers.

In powers you have so many speedsters. Barry, Wally, Jay, Bart, Jessie Q, Johnny Q, Impulse, XS, Max Mercury, reverse flash, Zoom, zyklon, lady Blitzcrieg, trinity Blue, Trinity Red , etc.

You have matter manipulators Firestorm (×2), Cyclotron, Miss America, and a couple more)

A few low level reality warpers like Flex Mentallo, Mr Nobody, Dorothy Spinner to name a few.

In DC al ml ost every non Alien or magic powered characyer is a meta (and some of the aliens and magic guys are too)

@Beatboks I mean Marvel have too many heavy hitters also, no?

Franklin Richards, Legion, the Marquis of death is an actual mutant, Mr X, Darkchilde, Proteus, Add all the heavy hitters like current namor
Unstoppable colossus
Magneto
Every telepath ever including Exodus
Plus all the mutants that can adapt to abilies, copy abilities, etc

which one could beat Marquis of Death?

AND BTW I wouldn’t class the speedsters as metas unless born from it. I say this because from what I understand the universal term for a meta is one with the meta gene or one born with the ability like Martians, and Kryptonians (even then that ones kinda thrown back and forth in DC)

DC has too many fractions on their earth: Elementals, Firestorms, Flash's, Green Lanterns, Homo Magi, etc... It's in DC's favor, imo.

😂 a meta human as a very loose term:

“In DC Comics, the term is used loosely in most instances to refer to any human-like being with extranormal powers and abilities, be they cosmic, mutant, science, mystic, skill or tech in nature. A significant portion of these are normal human beings born with a genetic variant called the "metagene", which causes them to gain powers and abilities during freak accidents or times of intense psychological distress.”

with Marquis of Death out there I wouldn’t place a bet on that at all

Franklin Richards as well (older) is an issue. His younger version recreated the multiverse after Battleworld. His older version was the last living thing after reality itself

"Everyone in DC with powers" vs "Every Mutant in Marvel" is too much of cluster****. Try to put actual teams against each other, please. Ones with smaller, manageable rosters.

He tried.

Look at what happened with his X-Men thread 😂

Dharma
Hourman
Tim Hunter
Jenny Soul
Doctor Manhattan

DC has it's own share of reality warpers.

Talking about people with a meta gene

And Marvel side got liek got like 20 reality warpers, and 10 more that can copy those 20 😂

Miranda is a reality warper on a level that controls all of Marvel reality. The combined might of her with all the mutant reality warpers and cosmic level psionic mutants is ****ing overwhelmingly OP. It's hard to really describe exactly how ridiculous she is.

Miranda is "do not use in normal continuity" level broken. That bad.

Legion, Nate grey, Matt Malloy, Jamie Braddock, Miranda, Proteus, Franklin Richards to name a few.

Then you have Synch and Hope, who can mimic their abilities

Still too long a list.

Do we count magic users as meta humans? since their power isn’t due to genetics/their own abilities but rather tools aka magic. Though I suppose a case could be made for her and shazam like magic users

Plus the myriad of telepaths, and other hax still helps them out. Not counting the power copiers/stealers the mutants have at least 3 doomsday’s basically (reactive adaptation), and not to mention time manip and even biological manip

Manhattan technically isn't a metahuman 😬

he's a quantum being.
