They were pretty equal as of S5 even. Barriss only gained the advantage when Ahsoka got caught in the explosion. Even then Ahsoka was fighting without the use of her shoto.

Id be more interested in comparing Ahsoka to Ventress.

Ahsoka clowned her in season 2. I'm rather dubious offee would have won if she didn't set a bunch of traps ahead of time.
