That particular story had a team of dead anti heros contending with living heros. I'm not exactly sure, but I believe that the Hyperion that was used during that story was the same one that was able to go toe to toe with both the Savage Hulk and Thor. That would make his strength level comparable to the current Hyperion, although I believe that the current one is probably a bit stronger.
Conner simply isn't in this weight class, he'd be closer to Nova's (Sam) weight class.

I’ll say that if it was a planet instead of planetoid. Hyperion would still have flown WM through it. It was such a insignificant detail, because drilling through a planet instead of a planetoid should only require more stamina not more strength but you had to lie to make it look more impressive. So because of this I question the sun part as well. Show us the next page and prove yours not misrepresenting the feat
