it was a joke, because a certain kmc member makes sock accounts to tip the vote, when the polls don't go the way he wanted. These days an average of 12-14 people vote on GDF polls

Oh right, I see.
Tbh, I was being too flippant anyways, there are a lot of Democratic voters that frame their worldview as "Democrat = good, Republican = bad" as well, so I'm sure there's a sizable number of people for whom Joe Biden can do no wrong. I'd say the number is much smaller than for Republicans, from a political point of view conservatives tend to fall in line for the party fervently, while liberals or progressives are much more easily put off if there's a few issues they don't agree with. Inconvenient for Democrats, but they could run better people....

Well, let's say Biden is racist to avoid de-railing the conversation. I do not think simply voting for Trump makes someone a racist, and I don't know too many people who fervently support Biden. Now, backing racist behavior because you voted for the guy? That's getting to be racist. Don't be scared to call out your guy when his behavior is wrong. What i see all the time, and get so disgusted with, is people backing up their candidate, no matter what they do.We need to be able to acknowledge that someone can be doing something you like but also capable of doing something that is wrong. We could have multiple political parties in three U.S. if we would all just hold both parties responsible for their failures as well as their successes.
I deeply believe Trump getting elected was as much a mistake by the Republicans as it was the democrats. Cruz and Rubio sabotaged each other. Your average Republican didn't want trump before the election. They felt as trapped inyo voting for him as I did for Hillary. Now, to support him blindly when he makes racist statements-- That is on their heads.
Well yeah, but at this point neither candidate can do wrong when it comes to the hardcore supporters. Republicans will mostly stick by Trump no matter what. Hell Trump made fun of the wife of Ted Cruz and gave out his phone number before he was elected. Lindsey Graham used to hate Trump, but now he's in love with him. I think they are probably trying to make the best of a bad situation. They are installing a shitload of judges while everyone focuses on Trump tweets and all that shit.
As for the dems, Joe Biden was defended over his racism. They also treated his sexual assault allegations far differently than they do those towards Republicans.
We have had a journalist say he could boil a baby alive and they'd still vote for Biden. Obvious hyperbole, but the message is clear: he can do no wrong.
Others have said they believe he is a rapist and will still vote for him.
Yes, it's the change in American politics, the fight over undecided voters is not the question anymore, it's how much can you energize your base. Trump has fervent supporters and that will be very beneficial to him, but the economic impact might hurt him a lot. Biden isn't a very exciting candidate, so it is likely many voters won't go out to vote for him, we've seen how a strategy of "vote for me cause I'm the better option" has backfired for Clinton (there were a lot more mistakes in the Clinton campaign, but that was one, imo)
I do believe Biden is another corrupt politician with the "dirty old man" past we all know the mold of. Just like Republican supporters though, there is no other choice right now for democrats (im a bernie guy myself, so don't even get me started on that whole thing) as bad as Biden is however, trump has been worse- in my opinion, more racist, to the point of inciting violence, more guilty of sexual violence in his past, and his track record in office has?neen nothing but an attack on our standing in the international community, gay rights, and environmental protections, while giving every advantage to mega corporations.
Given the choice, I'll say Biden is racist, and probably guilty of sexual assault, but so is Trump, and ill be voting for Biden as soon as the polls open.

I just wonder what it says about the progressive movement that the dems had all these choices for the nomination...men, women, black, white, samoan, asian, gay. Older dems, younger dems, etc.
And yet in the end they ended up with Biden.

I think it mainly says that the progressive movement and certainly the left wing of the Democratic party aren't that powerful, and that the right wing, establishment wing, like Obama, Clinton, Biden can still pull the strings well enough to get more or less what they want. It's interesting, the Republican party seemed to fail at doing so when Trump won, but in reality afterwards he has mainly been an establishment Republican in policy, with a somewhat more populist persona.

Honestly I think Republicans have just said "f*ck it, we'll get as many judges in as we can while they are distracted by tweets and other dumb shit Trump does".
It's all about the judges. Mitch is in heaven.

Trust me, im asking myself the same thing. Tgere were no really strong candidates however. In truth, I don't think a "good" person would want the job. Im hoping, just like with trump, biden's nomination is a result of an older generation's final decision, which will slowly be replaced by a younger, more tolerant bloc of voters.
Im a huge third party advocate myself, with absolutely no idea how that could ever be instituted.

Yeah, I mean not just the judges, he's also been dismantling the ACA further without any backup, he brought the tax relief for the richest people at expense of working Americans, the wars have continued as before, to be honest most things Mitch and his owners want is working out great under Trump.
