We are talking about the type of rioting you believe the police are somewhat responsible for. if the police don't show up. will that type of rioting still happen?
I thought it was illegal for an army to occupy it's own country's streets? The same way certain intelligence agencies are forbidden from operating on American soil.
Suppose it doesn't matter now, seems like it will be happening. The purpose of an army is to escalate conflict, so I hope this doesn't end badly.

That’s not true. The National Guard is the first responders to any threat to the nation, then the its the Marines.
FBI is allowed to operate inside the US, while the CIA outside, but they sometimes create task forces to skip that rules.

Already, private armed forces are doing so. And that's not a good thing. Once those shots go off, a lot of joggers and protesters will be killed. It will become a one-sided slaughter. That won't help the situation even a tiny bit.

Having read Ethneo's post and S and M talking about his gun collection. There is a real danger that a section of American society will feel empowered by the President’s intemperate language, and support for the Second Amendment, to take to the streets themselves, guns at the ready, in order to ‘help’ the National Guard. Such people fear becoming a laughing stock more than they fear anarchy. The President will bear a massive responsibility for prodding that sore spot if in the near future we face the horror of the white supremacists exacting their own form of law and order.
