The biggest recession of our lifetimes is what Trump gave us

Started by Old Man Whirly!5 pages

Employment grew 2.9% in May, but it fell 14.4% in April. And it is why sometimes looking at monthly growth can be a bit confusing:

Surely no one actually believes that this economic disaster is in any significant part due to Trump?

Whirly does.

Seems misguided, what we are facing is a global recession (at the least) and the causes are for a change not due to particular policy (though of course it is made much, much worse by the capitalism we live in). I do think you can blame Trump for certain policies or lack of policies, and it's a valid opinion to have that Trump may have slowed recovery...

Nah, Trump didn't give it to us. The left and democrat leaders did. They were the ones who wouldn't let the economy open back up when Trump wanted it to.

But I get it, quanni is a little b*tch ass liar just like most of the people on the left. Fortunately, most of the American voters understand that the hit our economy has taken is laid at the feet of democrats, not our great president, and no amount of spin from liars like quanni is ever go change that.

Trump/Pence 2020. 🙂

This is a pretty deluded post.

You really should start that cult I suggested.

we have a global recession, but trade wars and protectionist policies, support of brexit etc have not helped... at all.

Better yet, how comes no one ask China to take responsibility for the shits they are doing!

I know, it’s because everyone in this Country are China’s bitches. After all, everyone needs that Hollywood money China gives. Or those new nike sneakers, or the new iPhone, or basketball money.

Americans are nothing but weak cowardly bitches that stands and honor a country like China for all its evils. Yet shits on their on country just so China can trow them some bones.

I don't think China is particularly to blame either.

It's actually not going to be a recession by next February, no one will doubt it's a depression. Trade wars started it, Coronavirus sealed the deal and Brexit is the cherry on top.

Trump certainly has to take some of the blame, the US is the worlds largest economy.

and just like that it was no longer obama's economy

So an upturn in the economy would no longer be credited to Trump but Obama instead?

For the record I believe we'd be facing some hard times regardless who was in charge or what policies were in place.

Nope! I am once again pointing out the utter hypocrisy surrounding how these people handle economic news.

You underestimate the level of Trump Derangement Syndrome some here have. They could stub their toe and figure out a way to blame Trump. They could run out of gas in the middle of traffic and somehow tie the event to the trump administration.

And in doing whatever it is you are doing missing the point completely.

I get it: you'll provide some piss poor excuse for why Obama should have been credited with positive economic news while Trump should only get credit for the negative. Sooner or later some imbecile will come along and pretend you made a valid point.

Then we rinse and repeat. Hows about you just not do that, yeah?

obama left the economy in upswing and helped guide a general resurgence... trump... not so much.

Okay, there is the first part. Now for the imbecile who comes along and agrees.

Trump squandered Obama's recovery.

Seems like you're doing the exact opposite though. Obama's policies are apparently still far-reaching enough to have an impact on the economy but only when it's on the slide.
