Force choking question??

I just seen these scans Galan posted-

Interestingly enough, Vader did this without having a visual of the captain. All he had was radio communication.

and it made me wonder- Has anyone else in canon or legends shown the ability to Force choke an opponent from a distance without being able to at least see them in hologram form?

Yeah, Barriss choked out Letta Turmond without having a visual, and Palpatine did the same to a couple Mandalorians just before engaging Maul/Savage.

Vader's range was pretty impressive in that scene, though(with no visual.)

Didn't Dooku also force choke that guy on Oba Diah without a visual?

I had to go back and rewatch the scene. But no, Dooku had a direct line of sight there.

Ya range is what I was also curious about. Granted Sidious choked Dooku rom half the galaxy away but he still had a visual of him. Vader didnt even have a visual of that captain and still choked him from a planetary distance.

Well, If Vader can force choke an opponent without a visual, That means Vader just needs to sense his opponents and then force-choking them, It gives a lot of advantage in combat

Fair enough. I thought it was another post to say why this character is stronger than the rest.

As far as range(without a visual) goes, then yeah, Vader has the best feat in canon.

I'm sure someone like Palpatine could duplicate that showing, though. /shrug
