Bruce always holds back, unless he's fighting machines, undead or maybe insectoids.

Val was more starstrucked than serious.

The closest is him besting Batman, when Val was ranked at 12 and Bruce was ranked at 10 or something.

Bruce did say he would beat him next time though lol
