Seriously, why did Joe Biden claim the US is doomed if we can't achieve equity (Or was it equality?) by 2040?
I get that equity means less social unrest, what I don:t understand is why 2040 is important. Biden made a claim to the US becoming minority white European by then, but so what? Why does that even matter to his other point?
Why doesn't ANYONE care about the fine details on his statement, all they care about is using it out of context to call Joe racist or debunking that, nobody cares about what he actually meant.

People keep talking about "supply lines", but I'm really staring to wonder if the only real "supply" that matters is human supply.
Take migrant workers, businesses don't only use them because they're cheap. In fact, I personally know of migrants being paid VERY well for what they do. No, migrants work hard, they work smart and efficient, and they don't cause problems.
US locals are LAZY. I worked in the USPS for a time, I've seen it for myself, many many people just don't wanna work. It was always a half dozen work horses that picked up the slack for everybody else.
If US freight shipping is backed up in 2023, it's probably because management won't spend the money on extra cranes or extra dock space, and the actual workers just do the bare minimum and go home. But really in the case of freight management is probably the biggest issue there, they probably take a "**** the US and gimmie my pension" attitude.
Meanwhile China invests in their infrastructure, and their workers actually do the work.
And now that China and many other countries are building up their own system and trying to exclude the US, we just may be screwed. Even if they took a hit in the short run, cutting us out of the chain may be seen as a net positive for them.

Doesn't seem likely to me. I mean this isn't France, the US population is complacent personified. Black Lives Matter resulted in some looting at worst, and really was mostly peaceful, French rioters are shooting f'n rocket propelled grenades and shooting police officers with AK 47's.

If they could not afford the loans they should not have taken out the loans. I paid off my loans my friends paid off their loans Manny have taken up loans and pay them off. Managing your debt is part of being an adult. They deserve no help. We should not pay for their irresponsible behavior.
