I don't have tattoos, I don't see the appeal. I also don't see the appeal of puberty blockers. The squirm these interviewees show when they realise the flaws in their arguments shows their lack of understanding.
Obviously a 12 year old isn't old enough to understand these kinds of decisions to their lives.
