Honest question here: why isn't open carry allowed at these rallies? On what possible grounds do they tell people not to bring in guns?

There is also a story without a shred of proof that the SS let him in to take his shot. These stories are so frustrating because we will hear them OVER and OVER and some people will never let them go. They will quote the lies forever. Just like the COVID conspirators and the Big Lie, we will just hear these stories over and over for the rest of our lives. We will get exhausted of arguing about them, so we will just start ignoring them...

Imagine if all those good guys at that rally had guns. Trump would have perfectly safe as the entire audience drew their guns and killed the gunman in unison.
