the republicans that you don't trust are just closet fascists with masks firmly in place. Very few people at this point can possibly vote for trump without knowing exactly what they're voting for. Thus my fascist head-count" comment. My confidence of victory is overshadowed by my pessimism that a substantial portion of voting Americans will be self-outing as insurrection supporting fascists in November. Anyway, J6 mattered, neocons felt every bit as unsafe as we did on that day, and they won't vote for him. You'll see.
There's Republicans who were literally barricading themselves in with pieces of furniture on J6th to be safe from their own voters, still claiming "just a normal tourist day" or other distraction.
I pray to magical baby Jesus who I don't believe in that you're correct, but I have zero trust in the average Republican voter. Zero.
Still think Harris will win though, but I can't say it's an absolute.

Remember when people said getting Biden to step aside would be disastrous and would effectively be handing Trump the presidency?Good times.
I am not convinced that is entirely incorrect. Americans are more misogynistic than they are racist, and Harris is both a woman and black. There is a lot of enthusiasm around Harris right now, but enthusiasm does not win elections, votes do.
Joe made me comfy. Know why? Because Republicans have been crawling up his anus and dickhole with a flashlight for many years now looking for dirt. In the end it's clear that Joe is as squeaky clean and square as they come, (and he maybe could have done a better job raising one particular son. Wow thanks Foxnews). I don't recall Harris having to go through such extreme vetting. My trust in joe cancels out that concern, but there's always that shit thought "what if, though"
Harris may well have shot her popularity bolt too early. 2 1/2 months is a long time to not do something monumentally dumb or for someone to reveal something to undermine her. I wouldn't put it past Hillary Clinton and her sense of entitlement to be resentful enough at potentially not being the first female president to covertly try and sabotage Harris.
