It's really twisted. It wasn't a short outburst. At another point he was scowling down at the president from atop daddy's shoulders and yell-whispering "SHH! Shush your mouth! SHHH! Shush your mouth" and he had to sit there and take it.
Then the media is like "no other president would have looked away coldly from a cute babbling toddler", completely out of touch as they always are. It all comes down to whether or not he tries to take legitimately away from the court. He recently said outright and repeatedly that he would continue to appeal decisions he doesn't like, but won't take it further. That made a lot of people relieved. Not me though, because I've been paying attention.
He'll take everything all the way to the Supreme Court if he has to, expecting the Far-Right controlled court to bend his way.
If the SC rules against him, he'll cry foul and try another executive order regardless of legality to get around their ruling. The SC did give the POTUS king-like powers just to keep Trump safe.
