I told a friend similar when he read some of Elon's fanboys are defending the Nazi salute under "his autism makes him not know, he was trying to give his heart", sure, then why do they want him in charge of some of the country's most sensitive information?
Yeah, that's probably the plan, but their incompetence will save us. Trump is now surrounded by sycophants and lickspittles, no safe guards, but also no safeguards protecting him from himself. Everything is "yes sir, that's the best idea ever.", his dementia also isn't going to improve over time.
It's also just a matter of time before Trump and Elon have a very public breakup. The power and money is very nice, but the egos are too big to see the bigger picture indefinitely. We're all going to pay though for it though.

Nah, i just floated through school by the seat of my pants. We didn't really need personal computers until after I had already graduated from year 12, and by the time year 2000 had finally rocked up, I was already deep into my first Windows PC and never needed to look at ZIP drives cause Microsoft was doing CD burners and shit by then.
Right but if you choose to get into something which involved having to copy and transport files over 1.5 mb, you had few other choices, and zip was the only universal one. It was a weird time for apple, when cd-rw wasn't standard.
My first Mac was an all in one performa, early 90's. Had a blazing speed of 33mhz. Learned Photoshop on it. Photoshop 2. Layers didn't even exist yet, nor did the history pallet. Every move was baked in. I can't even imagine the stress
