I think I Will Remember You is the episode in question actually.
It was. Every tv shows falls in that category, especially long running series.
The demon was a Mohra demon, but in this instance, Mohra demons are a rare breed of demons, only coming out to bring about the Apocalypse.
The one McMuffin that was never mentioned again, was the unborned child who would become a champion. Angel had to defeat a demon on horse back to protect her pregnant mother. I always felt there was a great story there.
But I do think they missed a great idea. Imagine where Angel stays human, live with Buffy, get her pregnant, but in the season finale of both episodes, Buffy is kidnapped but a group of powerful demons, have the baby and bleed out. Angel in his human self after fighting demons after demons finally reaches her, only for her to bleed and die in his arms. And Angel refusing that deal, begs the powers that be to turn back time to near a year, and now Angel has those memories alone. Imagine the suffering.

The episode where Angel and Spike go to Rome is one of the best episodes out of both series. It is called "The Girl In Question".It's a shame Joss was a b*tch and got the show cancelled.
Hated that episode, though it was stupid.
Also, Joss did not get the show canceled. What happened was he went to the head of the studios at the time and ask him can he green lit a season 6, since the actors usually gave up other projects not knowing if they were coming back or not. The exec jumped the gun and canceled the show instead.
At that time, I believe Angel was in the top 5 most watched shows on the WB.

What about the episode with the mexican wrestler? lol
That was legit funny.
But nothing beat smile times. Puppet Angel killed that episode. Especially when he started talking to wolf Nina, only for her to attack him and rip him up. I never laugh so hard watching an Angel episode.

Without Rob and Whirly?I don't mind dissenting opinions at all.
Not good to live in and echo chamber.
I agree with both of you.
Thought it is not an echo chamber, it is very chill. But there does need to be more dissent of opinion happening.
