Again, to this day, Backfire was correct to ban RJ for that.

I might be confusing the argument but I think it started when he posted that he was going to go through the manager training program or go back to school. And she said something like, "I'll believe it when I see it" or some sort of expression of incredulity that RJ would do anything ambitious with his career.

But angry people, after a break up, can use those memories against you.
But if you go around guarding yourself all the time, never opening up to anyone, you become a curmudgeon, socially awkward, stunted, and even dysfunctional. So it is a risk. Gotta put your heart out there and hope the other person takes care of it.
