They didn't include Blu-Ray on that list. They should. They should have a "physical media" sales category and see what sales look like from a trending perspective.

I don't think blu-ray will die that soon. People are collectors and enjoy owning things. Plus blu-rays come in collector's editions with different cuts of a movie, as well as all kinds of special making-of features, etc. Unless everyone who enjoys cinema dies suddenly and don't reproduce, physical copies of films and TV shows will still exist.

Physical media is clearly going to reduce production due to a lowered demand, but it won't disappear. People still buy vinyl and that's been going for ages. Not to mention books, of course. They're going a few centuries of mass production strong.

You make a good point, somewhat, however, I think you're a sony fanboy and therefore biased.

My phone's a Huawei, I have a PS4 mostly because Bloodborne is a PS4 exclusive

I just go with whatever console gives the most bang for buck, and that's defo PS4

I did have a Sony Ericsson at some point iirc but it was second-hand
