So I don't follow baseball much, but I don't like the changes I'm hearing about.
Ever since Moneyball came out, everyones about stats. Apparently, stats work, but a lot of players and fans aren't happy about how "fun" the game is now.
And recently, Baseball gambling became legal.
So why use a system fans don't enjoy? Even if they net you wins, in the end you'd think fan enjoyment is king. Sports are all about the fans.
Unless they aren't? I mean, is the real money in fan tickets.. Or is it in sports betting?
What if that's the point, using these new fangled stats to control the game, and skew betting odds, and then make a ton of money on the side? Way more then ticket sales?

Drag is weird.
Drag started with Shakespeare. Women were not permitted to be players, so all of the roles were played by men. In the script margin, next to the name of a female character, would be the initialism "drag," short for "dressed as girl." Meaning, this character will be played by a young man dressed as a girl.
Histocially, same-sex relationship were not legally-recognized, so without the responsibilities of marriage and children, many LGBTQ people throughout time were able to devote themselves to the arts, including theater, and drag has been a part of LGBT culture ever since.
Drag is essentially performing gender. Artists use it to illustrate the arbitrary nature of gender roles, to satirize them, and to deconstruct them altogether. It is weird to the unitiated, but once you are exposed to it, it is actually really neat.
