I honestly struggled towards the end of Next Gen, when Geordi would just plot device the main dish to emit drivel particles. The deus ex machina endings wore thin. Even the Borg became shit. The best bit of Picard was Hugh dying, I cheered! Take that! You singlehandedly made the Borg sympathetic... what a **** he was. And don't get me started on Guynam or Wesley.

DS94Life.

And not just the bandwagon stuff, I'm one of those weirdo's who actually fondly remembers the baseball competition with the Romulans. Angry socker dad Sisko was gold.

ds9 was indeed better still, even if captain sisko made me uncomfortable at times with his laughs, and a couple of episodes were unforgivably bad.

DS9 made Worf into a true badass.

So what do you say.

Going by the cartoons only, would Skeletor take Mum-Rah?

The mummy scared me more as a kid, that's for sure.

Yes, Skeletor would take Mumm-Ra. Mumm-Ra can literally be defeated by seeing his own reflection. He does not even have any powers of his own. He is powered by the Ancient Spirits of Evil. And if their coptic jars are destroyed, he would become completely powerless. He can only maintain his ever-living form for a short time, and must return to his sarcophagus to regenerate. If his sarcophagus is sealed or destroyed, he likewise becomes powerless.

DS9 is boring AF. Voyager is way better.

I won't badmouth Voyager, though I think SF Debris is hilarious in his argument that Janeway works as a covert supervillian actively trying to get her crew killed. (Seriously, even as a fan his videos on his website are worth a laugh.)

For DS9, the first several seasons are bad, I'll grant you. It's a slow burn to the good stuff. The LeVar Burton written episodes tended to be excellent.

Take a later seasons episode where Quark is an editor in a newsroom, along with the rest of the crew having roles, in pre Civil Rights America. Or the one where Jake Sisko spends his entire life trying to get his father back, after seeing him lost as a boy.

DS9 jumped the shark when characters from TNG joined the cast in a blatant attempt to boost the ratings. "Remember this show that you liked more? Some of its characters are on this show now!"

That was played out relatively early though. Spock was underwhelming. The Scotty one was cringe worthy.

The only good one was with Sarak, when he had the Vulkan equivilent of dementia. Really powerful, seeing him bare his soul after a lifetime of bottling it up.

Without the weakness though.

Say, if it was removed (Happened in canon for a time), or he was wearing those anti-reflection goggles,.

I remember Mum-Ra being straight up overpowered. Super Vultureman, Monkeyan (With power Mum-Ra himself gifted him!), Safari Joe...

For a scary mummy, he has a pretty pathetic win-loss record.

Not like Skeletor, who defeated Hordak three times out of the four they fought.

You know what, forget Skeletor.

1980's toon Shredder. Can Mum-Ra even beat him? 🙂

The best episode of TOS Trek is the one where Scotty is drunk in the Captain's chair and Spock tries to get him out of it and Scotty responds with; 'Get your Vulcan hands off me!' say it in a drunken Scottish accent and you'll understand why it has me ROFLing every time.

The one with the Matrix-esque ass attack from Kirk is a funny moment too.

I'm glad someone else took issue with Sisko's creepy smiles/laughs. He was also a close talker with odd head movements. Luckily those creepy traits declined as the series progressed.

Speaking about bad episodes, remember the one where Kai Winn kept going to Bashir and demanding something so her incapacitated hated rival could keep at negotiations, and it went well past the point where a doctor should put their foot down and say "I'm a doctor, not an executioner!"

Actually replaced half his brain with cybernetics, and finally ended him.

It's no wonder Garrick "helped" him in Pale Moonlight. Guys a big troll, he probably thought it would be hilarious seeing him try and act naturally.

Clock is much too bright on new microwave, with no way to adjust.

Its like things just keep getting worse with progress instead of better.

Why would you not consider the limitations of a character when trying to determine who would win in a match?
