Pretty sure what he meant was that the tens-of-thousands (at least, perhaps even hundreds-of-thousands) of people who were peacefully protesting outside the building were the patriots, not the relatively few who stormed inside.
And he was right about that. You know, when people feel like their votes no longer matter in the end they have every right to protest. Especially when the courts aren't bothering to even listen to their grievances.

If that's what he specifically meant, then sure, the peaceful protestors I have no problem with, even if they're protesting based on lies, as the election was not stolen from Trump. But I doubt it, he seems like an instigator when it comes to politics.

I see it the Dems holding onto at least 220. Not sure how well the Republican strategy of "Trump was cheated in 2020!" will work for them year after year. Seems like a flawed strategy long term.
