Will Jan 6th in the US ever become like November 5th in UK? Instead of Fawkes effigies being burnt will it be Trump?
Going to be interesting what happens on the first anniversary of Trump's and his Trumpets' failed coup, Jan 6th 2022
Honestly, this must never be forgotten. I hope every Jan 6th footage of the failed attack is played across all networks. Make it a day of remembrance.

1975, the day American lost the Vietnam War.
Looking back, there's irony there.
The LBJ administration got us into it. Considering his agenda to end poverty and such, he was pretty progressive.
And the Nixon administration is the poster child of corrupt Republicans.
Yet the moderate reformer played the war monger, and the corrupt politician ended a war (Yes, I realize he was only playing for time in doing so.)
One thing thats always bothered me about our political history.
No one really seems to do anything with the lessons from it.
I mean, far as I can see, leaders still lie, they still murder in the name of personal gain, there's still "secret police" everywhere (CIA, FBI, Mosaad, the British James Bond equivilent)..
What actually ever changes?
If it was up to me, I'd create a committee of the smartest people on the planet and have them draft a plan to end corruption forever.

I'm sure those people won't end up corrupt too.
Make it public. Tape everything, broadcast it.
Actually, that might solve it right there. End privacy, have body cams on everyone. Assign personal observers to powerful leaders, with guns. To use on them if they betray the people.
