It's a fantasy show based on Arthurian legend. The main character is Nimue, who eventually will become the lady of the lake. Arthur is a mercenary who teams up with her to find Merlin.

Really loved the bbc show "Merlin" so I thought maybe this would be good.

Did you see the show Camelot with Joseph Fiennes and Eva Green? It was a pretty good take on the story with Fiennes stealing the show as Merlin. Its only mistake was coming out at the same time as Game Of Thrones and casting some puny boy-band kid with facial fuzz as the future king Arthur. He makes the guy who played Arthur on the Merlin TV show look like Dave Bautista.
