Yeah there's a market for people who think the shoes are better than the jacket. They're wrong but they think the jacket manufacturer is corrupt and that the people who developed the thermal technology used in the jacket are somehow compromised and faking their test results because reasons.

Further case in point. The vitamin D studies, as mentioned, were funded by vitamin D supplement companies.
