I hate the US justice system, it is so transparently corrupt.
You know the cliche client/lawyer confidentiality agreement? Did you know it's more jealousy guarded then doctor/patient confidentiality? That's right, doctors have been forced by court orders to break confidentiality.
Same for journalists protecting their sources, that has been violated many times. Yet a lawyers agreement to their client is sacrosanct to the point a lawyer was actually pointed to the burial sites of children that were murdered by their client, and they were forced to rebury them and keep mum about the incident, true story.
What possible reason could such an arrangement be so jealously guarded, except for purposes of their protecting law as a business, the same way corporations jealously guard profits at any cost.. Or perhaps to enable and encourage criminal activity.
And that last point leads into a two tiered justice system where crooks buy the best legal consul yet innocent men are stuck with cheap assed public defenders who don't know what they're doing. It's a disgrace.
