However, the target of the research was never going to honestly engage. His trolling style is just to get people to respond and spend time responding to his very low-effort posts. It's amusing to him. He probably legit laughs out loud at some of the responses he gets for 3 seconds of typing.

In the process, Whirly made himself look like he has the reading comprehension of a preschooler and the backbone of a rotifer. If one never drops the "I'm only pretending to be an idiot" act, then by all accounts that person is actually just an idiot. I wasn't expecting him to double down on the act so hard and so quickly, though — he usually puts up more of a fight.
