If prospective employers are unable to verify education or experience, it will be harder. This is one of the main reasons HR has trouble with immigrant workers. Unless they controlled their CV study for this, it's fail science. That's just one of the variables that can cause an immigrant to fail to get a callback.

Usually people entering Europe who are not refugees will have had credentials checked. Often this is possible with refugees.

I've tried to do similar and I got told to GTFO - even with a federal security clearance. Since I've hard thousands of employees over there years and literally gone through tens of thousands of resumes, my experience is among the broadest you'll meet with this specific topic. You cannot gaslight out of this one. 🙂

You cannot verify credentials for some immigrants for multiple reasons. The studies are biased on purpose. An independent study would need to be conducted to control for all obvious variables.

I can't help it that you're upset that many immigrant's credentials are not verifiable by HR departments and, therefore, fail the credential check.

But we can help biased and agenda-based research that tries to make it about racism by doing better research. 🙂

Neil James is the Embassy staff who deals with this there not the individual and he has moved on to big and better things.
