It's a simple matter of the math.

Marvel has more streets and they have more appearances.

Besides, Shiva is really overrated.

I include metas as streets

so yeah Marvel is def more stacked, in the low-mid meta department

How are they more stacked? DC has Wildstorm and Milestone to rely on. Hell, the Batfamily alone can match of Marvel's streets alone

Wildstorm is back to it's own world though. And it's way better than any of their appearances I've seen in mainstream DC.

Nah. There are 2 versions of Wildstorm around. the Warren Ellis versions and the ones still stuck on DC earth.

They were also going to pop up in the latest Generations storyline, but they cancelled the series after Didio got fired.

Shiva stomps. Matt is no Cassandra Cain.

So, their DC versions are technically still around but not being used?

Are they all still alive and such?

Mostly, yeah. The Midnighter seires that happened a few years ago was pretty awesome. It was a critical hit.

That's pretty cool, I always enjoyed Wildstorm while it was under Image Comics to the point of buying multiple copies of each issue. Hope it takes off.

Wildstorm never actually left, just placed in Limbo.

The return of Midnighter?

Interesting...

Gossip: Superman To Lead The Authority in 2021?

For Superman to lead The Authority means that a lot must have gone regarding Superman's relationship to the rest of the Earth. Also that this is how DC is to bring The Authority back into continuity. After the New 52, characters were seen in the new Stormwatch series, and Midnighter and Apollo got their own books for a short time. Then DC chose to revive the Wildstorm titles in a series of books written or showrun by Warren Ellis, only for the WildCATS series to never get off the ground. While the Flash forward epilogue by Scott Lobdell and Brett Booth indicated a return of the WildStorm characters as part of the Generations, 5G and New DC Timeline books.

I liked the "Nick Fury and Agents of Shield" style story about Dio.

By far more interesting then Dio god of Wildstorm.
