Trumper is a portmanteau of Trump and supporter. If one consistently acts as a supporter, then he is a functionally a supporter, regardless of whether he identifies as one.
People who consistently excuse, defend, and otherwise provide political cover for Trump asserting they are not Trumpers is no different than a man who only has sex with other men asserting that he is not gay. Both are either lying or in denial, and no one else is buying it.

Although I haven't yet been explicitly described as a Trumper, so there's that. I'm not his biggest critic nor someone who particularly excuses the man. (Lately I've really soured on him, tbh.)
