As opposed to bolt action rifles? You know, pre Civil War era standards?

Semi auto gets talked about like Dick Tracy heaters, which is just stupid.

I do know what semi-auto means in regards to guns.

Ruger 57's. 20 round mags and they fire 5.7×28mm rounds.
