'Apprehensive'?
I'm not sure you even understand what you are trying to say in using that.
What am I apprehensive about here exactly? I just casually corrected you on a statement with no emotive indicator behind it, and you wrote a weird defensive paragraph in response as if I was calling you out. I wasn't. Its ok to be wrong on useless recreational info like this.
If those Black Holes were star level, and these monsters fought on Earth, how was it that their impacts didn't yield greater destruction. Hyperbole exists when the subject spoken of yields less than the claim. Which is what I was getting at.
It's called plot armor. Earth has the strongest plot armor in any form of fiction. Mothra was strong enough to redirect an explicitly planet busting meteor after struggling against godzilla even with assistance in the same movie. Godzilla in final wars destroyed gorath, an ftl travelling asteroid that was explicitly stated to be able to obliterate earth, with his radioactive breath alone.
Yet their fights on Earth only cause city wide destruction. That's the difference between attack potency and destructive capability.
Same as with Thanos and his son Thane planet busting no name planets yet when Thanos is ever on earth he seems crater level at best. Kinda like WBH and Betty indirectly destroying the dark dimension and it's moons yet when they are teleported to Earth after growing even more powerful (growing to kaiju sizes) they didn't suddenly blow up Earth when the fight continued there.
Now you also offended me by the accusation of being wrong when I specified the source of my info, and asked if anyone had a different source of facts. Am I right?
'Accusation'? Lol dude this is all I said:
"And no Godzilla Earth is far bigger than 355 ft. You are thinking of Legendary Godzilla."
I literally just corrected you, nothing to be offended by. Unless you fancy yourself as someone beyond reproach who never gets random info wrong. I didn't blame you for a mix up.
Regardless you didnt provide a link of what you wrote. You just said you googled some sh-it and said "it must have come from the creators".
On the other hand I referenced where that height came from specifically(Legendary). And you got needlessly defensive in response when it has little to do with the thread from a versus perspective.
You also likely misunderstood whatever the article (which you did not link) was saying. 355 ft is not the tallest Godzilla ever. The tallest he has been in a live action movie? Sure.
But Godzilla Earth is an anime. Not live action.
--By the way, I've yet to give an opinion on who wins in this thread. I feel like you get the impression that I'm edging it toward Godzilla, which would explain your defensiveness. I'm not.
