The only point of that "2nd" referendum they were offering (before the first one was even implemented) was to stop Brexit going ahead.

Come on Whirly, we saw how that turned out for them. They did infinitely better in the 2017 election when they were promising Brexit, but a soft version. Like either a Customs Union or Swiss type deal.
