DCEU Superman vs. KOTM Burning Godzilla

Could Superman tank Godzilla’s nuclear pulse?

Tank it? No. If he almost got killed by a regular nuke? But he somehow tanks something thousands of times hotter that obliterated a creature that had already been nuked multiple times? Ok

This isn't some megaton nuke that gets the surface of the sun hot for .00001 of a second. Fire Godzilla starts off core hot and gives off more rads a second than that itty bitty nuke that almost murdered Supe has period.

Not Supermans, not Thor or hulk or thanos or anyone even a tier above these guys is "tanking" that. Survive it sure. Definitely not tank. The alpha Titans are top tier in durability and damage output.
Will it one shot kill him? Doubtful, but he won't be conscious or even close to it.

Why even make this spite thread? We already saw what happens when he gets nuked.

Yeah I don’t think Superman could do much against Fire Godzilla, those pulses are too powerful

A nuclear explosion direct hit is different than pulsating heat. If Godzilla was that hot he would have melted the earth he was walking on and dug a whole as he was walking basically melting into the crust of the earth.

Bro, he melted half the city by just standing there....this is not a fight. Superman does not even get to fight back. It's not shameful for him to not tank this.

If you can't tank a nuke, you can't tank that. And I really feel your lowballing it just because Superman is in it. I mean both BVS and KOTM make it clear as day this is a spite thread. Even without the heat or pressure, it would still **** him up from the rads alone.

Also, you should change the name of this match. It's misleading as it is not an actual fight.

Tanking=standing there with a smile on your face while you get hit and nothing. Even Reeves couldn't "tank" that. Smallville might though, he is pretty close to comics.

I only asked that in the first post because that’s what it’s going to come down to in my opinion. If Superman can’t tank the pulses then he can’t do anything to win. If you feel differently than just go ahead and explain lol

I always thought tanking=being able to take a hit without dying or being KO’d

If he could tank it, what then? If you feel he has the damage output to damage Godzilla then why would it matter if he can tank it when he is fast enough to attack before Godzilla can use it?

If Superman could kill him quick like by flying through his brain at super speed maybe this would work, but this is a giant monster that can shrug off nukes.

I guess it depends on if you think Superman could toss Godzilla into space before he gets pissed off.

Probably not. He's fast enough to do it, but his strength isn't at such levels that can be casually toss monsters larger than skyscrapers into space in the blink of an eye.

The thing is that Superman has to get up close to really do any kind of damage to Godzilla, and to do so he’d have to be able to tank the nuclear pulse. I doubt Supes could just fly through Godzilla’s head, even if he’s able to do so before Godzilla fires off a nuclear pulse

Melting buildings is one thing, but the heat you claim would burn and melt the crust of the planet. Which disproves you’re claim about the temperature.

This isn’t something to get upset about either it’s just the way it is.

Superman’s speed was 2.4 million miles per hour the very first time he flew.

It increased steadily and significantly through the movies

Hitting Godzilla in the head at that speed would do more damage to him than a nuke, seeing as nukes don’t hurt Godzilla but he can be hurt by physical damage as shown.

So hitting Zilla in the head at that speed easily punches a whole through him and the exit would would suck out all his brains in the process.

Don’t see him recovering from that

From that point on even if Godzilla somehow recovered it would take a length amount of time. Giving Superman enough time to get him off the planet

Godzilla survived a nuke to the face without even a scratch. Yeah he absorbs the radiation but he still wasn’t even fazed by the sheer force of the blast. He also survived a hit from the meteor that caused the Permian extinction in one of the tie in comics.

I highly doubt Superman could just fly through Godzilla, and even if he could, Godzilla’s body heat and radiation would probably just kill him in the process (remember this is Fire Godzilla, who was melting a city just by walking thru it)
