Yeah..... compared to the Court of Owls that's pretty tame....

A half dead Batman beat one down.

You've got scans?

Kidney pain is among the most extreme "sensations" a human being can experience, perhaps only surpassed by the pancreatic cancer.

Put it this way - posting the scans would get me scolded from Galan and Pr for posting full issues, lol.

Batman (2011) #2-6, then 8, then 9, then 11...the entire thing takes place over a couple of weeks, of which one is him going for a week solid without sleep and being drugged...

Yeah, it really is an insane series of showings for Bruce.

It's like Snyder forgot what happened in the previous issue( or even page), and Batman just magically got recharged lol.

It's like getting impaled through the abdomen amped him.

Back when Snyder was still good

I agree with everyone.stated

There is Pittsy aka Carmine Gazerra from Punisher Max.

IIRC, Frank always required a weapon, blunt or better sharp to hurt him. He would just stand there and no sell barehanded punched

When he wss finally killed, he got stabbed multiple times, had his eye gouged out, his fingers broken (he just set them back), thrown out of 2nd storey window, impaling him on a spike fence, then had Frank.jump onto.him,.pushing the spikes further into him, then.had his head blown.off by a shotgun, and still attacked Frank for few seconds before expiring. Even Frank was flabbergasted

Oh there is judge dredd too.

Snowbird can alter so as to be o.k. I think.

Ok, cool 👆

I'm just not a fan of Snyder and all those owls/talons turds.

PS. It was after this that Bruce got his body restored? Or I'm confusing it with something else?

Yeah, after.

There's also his fight with Sensei....gets his arm broken, hand/wrist? Broken, got shards of his cowl in his eyes, then got impaled in the stomach/chest.

Thanks.

It's been a while since anyone talked about that.

By Sensei, you mean this guy, yes?

Here is me creaming myself over this in 2012:

That's basically....just the warm-up.

Later in the same arc, he gets trapped in an unescapable maze for more than a week, without water, food, drugged out of his mind and psychologically tortured. At the end, Talon - the same guy in the scene you just quoted, who is a highly skilled superhuman assassin, comes in from behind, stabs him straight through the gut, then beats him through walls and the like as he's bleeding in and out.

Batman summons the will and gets up in that condition, destroying him in hand to hand, as he's hallucinating mid-fight due to the drugs/exhaustion etc. and shows off his intelligence by escaping the maze.

All of that is happening after multiple injuries sustained before, not the least of which are the multiple stabbings above, multiple free fallings off of skyscrappers one of which involved him stopping himself with his bare hands while near terminal velocity, explosions, even Alfred trying to sedate him to slow the f*ck down and Bruce just shrugging it off and plowing through.

After all this damage? He finally arrives to the Wayne manor, gets bandaged, and then another gang of Talons attacks him. What does he do? He fights them off in his bedroom clothes.

When I say that Punisher is like a little kid who is crying from being kitty scratched when compared to Batman, that's not an exageration.

So rereading it...

Batman gets knives in his brachial artery in both arms, and a 3rd in his arm
Gets kicked out of an 'unbreakable window' 30 stories up
Continues to get clawed out by the Talon
Grabs a gargoyle and saves himself - the gargoyle is in the middle of the building, so he fell 15 stories

All this is without his Batsuit, btw.

2 days later, after fighting five Gotham gangs, he gets caught in an explosion point blank on the top floor of a building, Falls to the ground, then at the Batcave Alfred drugs him to get him to rest. It doesn't work., he goes out and gets ambushed, being smashed through a wall (his belt is taken off him).

Then he is trapped in a maze for 8 days without food or sleep, and the only water he gets is drugged.

Then he gets stabbed through the stomach, like, impaled.

Then smashed in the face with an old timey camera-tripod

Then beaten up by a Talon (kicked through concrete walls etc)

Then he beats the shit out of the Talon, makes a bomb with the stuff he stole from that old timey camera (of which he is at point blank range), drops into an underground river and gets carried down waterfalls and stuff until Harper rescues him with jump leads attached to the Bat nips.

Edit: phuck off Phildo.

How dare you speak to Phidlo that way.

Oh wait, you're arguing Batman's damage soak, and not Talon's.

Yeah, ok. That is an indisputably good showing.

Hard to pick which is better between that and the prison scene in Tom Kings run where he straightens out a shattered spine (Somehow), then goes on to a full plate of fighting.

When I was reading Batman comics, you thought he was a Marvel character, Saint!

I got confused between him and Black Panther.
