Why are people who attend political events spreading Covid but not people who riot?

Can someone explain this one.

Maybe the virus is vulnerable to firebombs

Hit me with more reasons and special rules

According to JAMA

When a group of like minded indivuals gather for the purpose of rioting/protesting or political congregation there is a massive increase in white blood cells that effectively destroy the covid-19 virus. Hence it is in our professional opinion, said gatherings aren't just safe but recommended.

Wow, powerful stuff there.

Yup, that's gotta be science.

The so called “science” people I’m sure believe that one to

Modern 'science' is a joke.

Maybe black magic is at work.

Oh shit is that racist?

The politically correct term is “voodoo”

It's hoodoo that you do.

Apparently tear gas kills the virus, it's the reason we use it on rioters to keep them safe 🐰

So people should be thanking The Police and Trump

Yeah, the body has a way of shutting the whole thing down if they are meeting up to protest political stuff.

Finally, someone got my joke.

Weeeeeee!

Ingesting that when someone goes to church and gets Covid it’s national news, nut since the rioters are masked up, there is no way to report on them spreading Covid.

Good thread.

I think there are three factors that influence the danger of spreading at events in particular, and that's a) whether they are outdoors or indoors b) how close people are to each other and c) whether masks are worn.

So I think a political even that was open air, with social distancing and enforced mask usage is much less likely to be a danger.

You “think”
