Think I’m starting to see why you get called trollberto mhmm
But for the sake of sticking to the topic the only DCEU movie that’s done any good was Wonder Woman. Personally I found it a bit boring but watchable. Quite liked Aquaman, as well as MOS.
Man of steel was great. The action scene is still better than huge majority of marvel movie
The Nolan Batman movies. Trilogy is still better than any marvel trilogy. Definitely more consistent
Wonder Woman was good
Aqua man was fine. In fact, I actually think it’s better than Black Panther. I’m they are identical but BP had the advantage of having a movieverse that’s already established

Despite the critics, I liked Justice League.
A lot of potential but too much tone shift, color changes (even in costumes), silly mustache CGI, way too many awkward ass shots.
Villain was so bad
Here is hoping that Snyder’s cut delivers next year. I want to see if the guy can actual salvage his career after what happened to him
Hmm, let’s begin by saying that Marvel has definitely done a much better job with its cinematic universe. The level of consistency and coherence across several movies has been movie-making genius by Marvel.
With that said:
1. The Dark Knight - the second Nolan movie was absolute magic. One of the few modern movies that has a proper plot (rather than just reliance on action and CGI to drive a movie), and what is interesting about that movie is that it was a modern crime thriller that just happened to have one of the characters dressed as a bat! They could have stripped all the ‘superhero’ elements and still have a superb movie. The whole Nolan trilogy was one of a kind, but the second movie in that series may be one of the best superhero movies for the simple fact that not only is it a great superhero movie it is ALSO a great movie PERIOD.
2. Man of Steel - some people made some noises about Superman killing Zod at the end, but in reality it was a great movie and superb retelling of the Superman mythos that gets better with age. A very solid movie.
3. WonderWoman - another movie that is both a great superhero movie AND a great movie period. Well told, great visuals, depth of PLOT (something people forget about these days).
4. Joker - Yet another DCEU movie that has transcended being ‘just’ a superhero movie into being a great movie period. Again, inclusion of a plot. Multiple awards (including the first Oscar for Best Actor).
—————-
Talking about Oscars:
- DC films have won 8 Oscars ...Joker won Best Actor and won for Best Score; Dark Knight won for Best Supporting Actor and won for Sound Editing; Suicide Squad won for Makeup and Styling; Batman won for Best Production Design; Superman got Special Achievement in Visual Effects; and Road to Perdition for Cinematography;
- Marvel on the other hand has only won for Black Panther, which got Best Score, Costume and Production Design.
————-
5. Shazam - the only DC film that tried to have a ‘nice and funny’ approach like Marvel films, and did a good job at it. Thoroughly enjoyable and funny.
6. Aqua man - very enjoyable movie.

Other worthy notes from DC:
- Watchmen: It has aged very well and is a good movie. More mature than some of the stuff many KMC posters will like (I consider KMC guys to be quite young - read immature - and thus a movie like Spider-Man Homecoming with pluck their heartstrings more than a movie like Watchmen ...)
- V for Vendetta: a modern classic, enough said.
- History of Violence: amazing story, and another one with PLOT.
- Constantine: nice popcorn movie.
- Losers: another nice popcorn movie.
- Road to Perdition: oldie, but very nice (and another Oscar winner for Cinematography).
Then there are various cartoons that are quite good - ranging from the best series of them all (BTAS) to the one-off movies.
@xJ
I loved man of steel I don't know why they haven't followed up with that. I swear DC can't even get one of its flagship characters a decent row of movies it's shameful honestly. You got a great actor wanting the role and he's got no script. The other movies was ok to me it went downhill #MakeItMakeSense
@spetnaz
😂 SO let's just act like the Joker movie isn't Falling Down or Taxi Driver in greasepaint. It's literally a remake of two already great movies with a thin veneer of almost DC slapped on. Much ado about nothing. Either the people who rave about this movie have very limited cinema exposure, or their DC fanboy cognitive dissonance doesn't allow them to admit it's a blatant ripoff of two great movies. It's not unique. Like, at all. The scenery, city, timeframe and cinematography even rip off Taxi Driver.
anyone over the age of 25 should know the movie has came out before many times. In Taxi Driver, Falling Down (actually the best out of this genre), Ragging Bull, Hardcore, King of Comedy, Requiem, The Machinist and ect. There was nothing new or unique about Joker besides they took a script and changed it for Joker.
in general, It's a movie made to empower incels and future broke brain mass shooters. There's nothing iconic about the film whatsoever and a guarantee nobody can tell you 1 solid scene beside the scene toward the end where he shoots Murray. The shit was mostly him saying cringe level shit and half giggling in a way that was neither iconic nor reminiscent of anything any joker has done. I gotta keep it real, even with the little piece of screentime he had Leto was a light-years better joker.
It's actually not a BAD movie though . It's simply neither original, nor very comic related, The fact that it has a pseudo comic character as the titular figure is causing people to make far more if this movie than they should. It's decent. It's better if your cinema experience is shallow and you've never seen any of the greats it ripped off

Little child, I could answer you beyond this sentence but unfortunately I have standards.

Very well written articulated post admitting Marvel movies are better which they are but highlighting some good movies by DC
