Donald Trump Presidency Thread

Well, they certainly broke a lot of treaties with native tribes for one, but it’s really more the image rather than any reality. Of course this American Spirit was always a fiction in many ways, I’m more talking about these archetypes of the western outlaws or like rough living frontiers people that I can see more closely reflected in the illegal immigrants of today. It’s not a moral judgment on any of these groups really.

Western outlaws, so you were talking about criminals and not regular people.

Not only, but yeah, also those. It’s less relevant to me what is criminal and what isn’t and more what the life and behavior is like.

Donald Trump is the first incumbent president to lose reelection since George HW Bush in 92, almost 30 years ago.

He will be the first incumbent president since Jimmy Carter to lose after his party controlled the White House for only one term and only the second since 1889.

As long as nobody here will make another thread related to trump's presidency, yes close it.

Do you feel that will happen?

Nah. We need to discuss what his legacy was and how we remember him in a few years. No need to close it. That'll just be poor taste.

His legacy will be that he accomplished most of what he promised, and did more in four years then Obama did in eight.

👆

Didn't build a wall tho did he

as much as I think Trump is a retarded ******* and a piece of shit, and hate most of what he says...

I have to admit, he did what he promised to do, or at least definitely went into the direction he said he will, and generally fulfilled what he offered to the Americans; it's just that I never liked his offer itself

Obama created more jobs in each of his terms than Trump's term.

Because Mexico paid for a big beautiful wall?

Maybe Trump will release and get passed his “the best” healthcare plan if the SC strikes down the ACA come this Tuesday. That would be one of his big three campaign promises. The wall and tax reform were the other two.

This thread doesn’t need to close yet. He will still be president for 3 months and may do some things worthy of discussion in that time.

I'm fine with it staying open.

You know that the numbers are actually tracked.

😆 😂 🤣

Another unhinged post out of the toddler-in-chief. Fox News is now 'the enemy' too because they won't go all in with his unfounded claims of being cheated:

.@FoxNews daytime ratings have completely collapsed. Weekend daytime even WORSE. Very sad to watch this happen, but they forgot what made them successful, what got them there. They forgot the Golden Goose. The biggest difference between the 2016 Election, and 2020, was @FoxNews! -Trump 11/12/2020

More triggered by the Twitter censoring of that Trump look alike troll image.

Come on Twitter, that wasn't sensitive in any way, it was comedy. 🙂
