They do stuff like this all the time so they don't damage box office takings.
They don't care about China or America. They care about money. That's capitalism. Therefore that's the opposite of "commies".
True, true. In capitalism, racism is perfectly okay. Whatever makes the most money.

If they were honest about it, yes.
But feigning an ally of sensitive topics like LGBTQ only to abandon them when inconvenient is not capitalism. It's predatory opportunism.
Capitalism is an honest enterprise. An entrepreneur and a huckster are two different things.
China is the best of capitalism for the elites, the worst of communism for the people.
Mike from RedLetterMedia coined the great phrase "passive progressive" to describe Disney's shenanigans, such as putting in a lesbian kiss into the latest Star Wars film, but cutting it out for foreign audiences who, shall we say, aren't so kind to The Gays. Another example is Finn from the new trilogy being made tiny on the Chinese poster, because China hates blacks. Large corporations are fine acting progressive to win virtue points with the Western masses, but they drop that shit for foreign markets quicker than the Syrians drop their gays off buildings.

That's just jumping on bandwagons while things are popular. Corporations don't care if it's a serious social issue or a dumb internet meme. So long as it's popular and makes them money.
There is some amazing virtue signaling and hypocrisy in hollywood.
They cried and refused to film in states like Georgia cuz of bathroom bills, but cuck to China(far more human rights abuse) and film movies in countries with much worse human rights abuses as well.
So it's funny and yeah it's capitalism they practice. They might claim to think it's evil, but they don't.

Despite Robturds ass kissing the people who apparently are against China have no problem making the people who are against censorship in America profit off it abroad

They don't care because their customers don't care. It's the same as railing against Hollywood for doing these things but still paying to go see Hollywood made movies.

That could backfire on them.
LGBTQ has real political clout. Political campaigns curry their favor, and legislation happens with real effects.
And Hollywood power isn't what it used to be. They learned that the hard way when Barrack Obama sided with Silicon Valley on internet freedom.
