Geocentrism vs Astrocentrism

Let's move away from ephemeral politics and into eternal philosophies. What is the goal of the species? To stay on Earth and use science to continuously replenish it, or advance into space to colonize worlds and discover new elements? Let's here some arguments, pros, and cons

Eat, shit and f**k, that's what is ingrained into us.

Everything else is because of our higher brain function. So really depends if you believe that our brains are a happy randomness or a design set in place. If it's random, not sure "goals" apply. If it's design, then the goals aspect could come into play.

I do believe in Intelligent Design (but not Abrahamic Creationism). I believe that reality does have a metaphysical source of information and a pataphysical source of emotion, but they do not operate by defying the laws of physics with magical Angels/Demons, but rather weaving through the laws of physics via serendipity, synchronicity, and karmic reciprocity. There are infinite other universes where perhaps Yahweh does exist, but we don't live in that one, and, IMO, we live in the best reality imaginable, which is why the laws of physics are so stable.
